A new visual landmark has emerged in the popular alpine resort of Arosa – a monumental wooden cow’s head, now the unmistakable centrepiece of the KuhBar, awarded the prestigious Prix Lignum 2024.
This unique installation, measuring 5 × 4 metres, was crafted from three-layer NOVATOP spruce panels treated with a special Suncare finish, ensuring long-lasting colour stability.
A total of 450 precisely milled components were assembled into a striking sculpture and mounted on a steel frame. The result is not only a powerful design feature but also an inspiring showcase of the creative potential of NOVATOP panels.
