The Timber Square project represents a visionary development aiming to achieve net zero carbon emissions almost a decade ahead of the targets set by the UK Green Building Council. It is located in the attractive area of Lavington Street in London’s Bankside district and is designed as a hybrid structure with a high share of timber and recycled materials.
In cooperation with Sipral a.s., we participated in the supply of approximately 1,100 m² of panels for a modular façade. The visible wooden soffits of the façade are formed by large-format 3-layer NOVATOP SWP panels. A key requirement was achieving a fire reaction classification of Bs1,d0, which was accomplished through the application of fire-retardant coatings from Teknos:
Supplied: 1,100 m² of spruce 3-layer SWP panels, 19 mm, visual grade B/C, with coating:
1st layer: TEKNOSAFE FLAME GUARD 2467-10
2nd layer: TEKNOSAFE FLAME PROTECT 2468-00
The Timber Square project represents a significant milestone for our team and confirms our ability to deliver solutions even for the most demanding international projects.
