One of the largest wooden constructions in the Netherlands, this four-story residential building utilizes 4,200 m² of our NOVATOP ELEMENTS for its ceiling and roof structures.
The highly prefabricated ELEMENTS met the following parameters:
- A refined ceiling design limited by the building’s maximum height
- Ceilings with a fully exposed, high-quality finish
- A 6.8 m span with a continuous exposed lamella
- REI90
- Ln,w = 46 dB (limestone infill within the elements)
This project presented many challenges—one of the greatest being the logistics of the entire contract. Transporting the elements to the construction site in 50 trucks required extreme precision and perfect timing. Installation took place in a quiet residential area, with the panels being unloaded directly from the trucks onto the site.
The entire project is being developed under the auspices of the international division of Häring AG from Switzerland.
