The house La Maison Pliée in Loctudy, France, demonstrates how a structural solution can directly shape the resulting space while sensitively responding to its surroundings.
Solid timber panels by NOVATOP form both the walls and ceilings, remaining exposed in the interior. The structure is not concealed but becomes a natural part of the architecture and its atmosphere.
The house follows principles of a passive and low-tech approach – making use of orientation, solar gains, and natural materials without relying on complex technologies.
The result is a timber building that feels calm, natural, and in harmony with its setting.
